Wrexham’s spoken word open mic night: bringing poetry, song and more to life for your enjoyment.
I will be attending this month’s Voicebox, and hope to perform my new short story (or at least part of it!) at the open mic session. Entitled Arnold and the Demons, the story was awarded third place in the Wrexham Carnival of Words 2017 writing competition (16+ category), and it stars a big ginger tom cat with a mysterious history…
Special guest at Voicebox this month (after the open mic) is performance poet Bob Horton.
Come along and join in the fun!
Date: Monday 8 May
Time: Doors open 7pm; open mic starts 7.30pm
Venue: UnDegUn, Regent Street, Wrexham
Cost: £3 entry (includes snacks)
