My collages use my own original photographs, and consider what our relationship with our environment could be by channelling the weird, the liminal and the illusional. Through the addition of elements from other sources such as vintage illustrations, the photographs – visual representations of our known world – are transformed into spiritual and imaginal realms as I explore the connections between the human and the more-than-human. I imagine what might lie beyond that which we can perceive with our senses, creating fantastical scenes of natural and urban dreamscapes, evoking alternative ways of engaging with the universe and the spirits & creatures that are our fellow travellers within it.
