For some time I attended a monthly poetry workshop (Newport Stanza) in my home town of Newport, South Wales, and read out my poetry at local open mic nights. Three of my poems were published in the Stanza group’s first anthology, which is available to purchase as an ebook.
After leaving the group, I primarily composed ‘found poetry’, which either manifested directly within my early collage explorations or as ‘fridge poetry’: the latter was created either with real magnets on my fridge or via an online fridge poetry generator. Please see below for examples.
